It's 4'o clock in the morning and I just got out of the Nolan Batman Trilogy marathon being held by local movie theater. The trilogy has come a ways. Dark Knight Rises is more light hearted than its predecessor and I think that helps tie in with a central concept of hope. Hope that Gotham and its people no longer are oppressed and down trodden and that Bruce Wayne may finally find peace. I'm not used to seeing a Batman tale wrapped up so completely so its kind of hard to take in. One thing I definitely gotta say is if you're a well versed Batman fan you may not get as much out of the film as would someone who isn't learned in Batman lore. As

You know right now I'm sitting here trying to think of a good way to start off this journal entry. I mean of course it'll be a hook but its gotta be interesting. Then I wonder if the writers for the Legend of Korra were putting the same amount of thought into their writing when writing the season finale. I would like to believe so but I seriously doubt it. The finale seemed to be handled like a lot of writing in animation meaning horribly. I don't know if the writers just didn't care or if they just threw a hand full of plot devices at the wall and waited to see what would stick.

GAAAH Ridley Scott why are your scifi movies so awesome? I just got back from seeing Prometheus. It met all my expectations I was building up while watching the Alien series. To be honest, I've only seen the first 3 Alien movies recently. I wanted to make sure I knew enough for when I went to see Prometheus. The first 2 movies in the series were awesome and I applaud James Cameron's work in Aliens. Personally, I enjoyed Alien more since it created that feeling of being trapped with this horrible creature alone so well.
